Meditation about our will, about our natural will, and God's will.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

In my mind I usually let my imagination go without control, expecting to create wonderful and amazing dreams, without considering the cost to get and maintain something.

[Kierkegaard] Once we got something, we lost something, we can't have and handle everything, When I was “happy married, with a nice business and a lot of friends” I was certainly unhappy to earn money because you need to spend money, to have a stylelife that you wish or want you have to pay the price” Do you want a house you need to pay fix it renovation, cleaning, maintenance etc and taxes a lot of taxes. If you want a degree you have to pay not only the fee, the hours of studying if you want to pass and if you want to be a good student you have to sacrifice time.

We see success, but we do not really know what is behind to master something we want because we expose our mind to what other people like us have. But we know inside of us that with our skills and knowledge we have to pay a price to get it.

[Seneca]I should be careful with my mind and my imagination and think about what I have done, how hard it was, and if I want to do it again. Yes I believe that I have been in many situations but only God is the one who really helps us through our strength and with the help of others.

How to know God's will?

Instead of asking for good possessions and achievement is through the development of virtues where we can ask God's will, he wants and we want to become mentally and emotionally stronger, the abundance can make us weak living between the life of pleasure.

[Aristotle]I pray to be a person who can see and act with justice , and that starts treating me with respect as treating others, understanding myself and forgiving others. I deserve another chance like others also.

[Kant]The virtue with justice could start with a demand for a better person, family and society but it always starts with myself because it will be completely incongruent to ask for something that I can't give.

[Jesus Christ]As a kid I was punished for certain kinds of conduct like showing lack of respect to a family member. Showing a lack of respect could have consequences, because I have been a victim when someone is not respecting me, it does not feel good. If I do this also I am being part of the same situation. Think about corruption. No one likes corrupt politics but I am also corrupt. How I can throw a rock if I am another sinner. 

We want a better world, better society, we need to start with ourselves, and instead of pretending to have amazing things or create amazing things we need to start with the basics. In my case do the laundry and throw the rubbish then we see what is coming after.
